Wednesday, June 30, 2004 hey every1, third day of school today. goutham said "pussy" in class. MR SIRHAN (hello...i noe u r going 2 read dis sonner or ltr...dun kill me in sch!!) made him hold a foolscap paper which read 'i said pussy in class' den MR SIRHAN (hello again...nothing escapes ur eyes!!!)took a photo of him wif jun zhi's phone. n he nearly flashed in front of Jia Jun when he entered the class.got quite a lot of hmwrk 2day. kc folo-ed me 2 bishan. had macs there wif ray. den kc folo-ed me 2 MOELC. met her there. obviously kc had sum super obvious reasons for folo-ing me. n he says he nids 2 go when its arnd 4.25. i tink he muz b waitin near the cemented path across the field area. waitin 4 her. lolz. shall not say 2 much. smth else very important. i tink i haf 2 drop a subject. how irritating. GPK dint even considered my TA1 results. lookz like i might drop german (ooooo....interesting news for sum ppl in my SJI class n MOELC class 2) Tuesday, June 29, 2004 european championship 2004. dats wad my title says. anw update update. czech is in the semi-finals. gonna b up against Greece on Friday morning. considering if i should watch it. quite likely dat czech shall triumph over Greece. n face either portugal or holland in the finals.anw. first day of sch was weird. felt very strange in my uniform. quite sum time since i stepped in2 sch too. second day of sch was also not dat gd. wasnt in a very gd mood when i stepped in2 class. not really sure y too. perhaps...hmm....not sure... btw my ukelele skills r improving. way 2 go. but my blading skills seemed 2 haf deproved. tried a slalom laz nite nearly fell over. n there was dis "Y" junction, i was going head on against a car, i swerved 2 the left path (it was coming from the right path) n i slipped. perhaps dats wad screwed my day dis morn. but i dun tink so. i tink it sum thing more serious than an external injury. perhaps a internal injury. lolz. Sunday, June 27, 2004 basically the whole of today was spent doing homework and catching up on all the work that I have not done. I can safely say that today is the day that I achieve the most in terms of completing homework. But nothing is perfect, that is why I chose to leave out my literature essay. Saturday, June 26, 2004 ken came 2 my house yday afternn. completed the hist elec n social studies project. we hardly put in any effort at all. but we hope dat bcoz mrs laj is slack n our wrk is slack den she will gif us gd grades. after all, she is the first teacher dat said, "why do u bring ur files home, when u dun even study. just leave it in class" wonder wad tan pek leng will do if we lefft our 'shou ce' in class. lolz.yday went to city hall interchange to meet my sister and James to buy a ukelele. got one for 25 bucks. came home and tried it out. aint that good. quite disappointed. but wad to do. it is one of the cheaper few....so ended up listening to music on windows media player. hai. slept at 2am 2day i woke up at 12.45pm. was woken up actually. not dat i mind. in fact i dun mind as i haf said. i would rather talk with u den slp. =D so went to borders, starbucks, cineleisure. blardy music outside blasting so loudly. n sum spiderman craze thing happening there 2. (shall not disclose anymore). juz say dat im disappointed. grrr. i shall wrk harder. grr... n so many pamplets being given out too. waste paper. going to parkway parade ltr with my mum. apparently her excuse is dat i haf not helped arnd much at home so now she wans me 2 help her carry her groceries etc. oh well. havent complete chinese oral, english essay, movie review, lit essay, AMath proj n revision exercise. geez. Thursday, June 24, 2004 I am finally back from the NTU attachment programme. The amount of things I want to tell is overpowering. But I figure I should not say everything in detail for the sake of the lazy blog readers (my friends lolz)The whole programme started on 14th June Monday. Zhuang Mao, Ray Chuan and I represented SJI. Mr Michael Chin asked that we meet in SJI at 7.30am. And we had to wait so long because he wanted to wait for the office to open to dial a cab.....(skip all the crap that happened here)....arrived at NTU. He led us to MPE (School of Mechanical and Production Engineering). Met Prof Butler and other school students from RV, NYGH, TCHS, Montfort. I did not get into my first choice (biomedical), got my second choice (fuel cells) with some other montfort guy. We were the only group with 2 people. stupid chinese high had the chance to choose on the spot and 2 chose biomedical and both got in. those blardy bastards. I cannot exactly remembered what happened on what day. so i shall just briefly described what occured in general. our working hours were 9am to 5pm daily. we were supposed to go to the fuel cells laboratory. and we worked on the design of a polymer electrolyte membrane micro fuel cell (PEMMFC), did our report, did the powerpoint presentation etc. our research fellow was this guy from China (Dr Xia ZeTao). He is another idiot. He is not the least bit friendly. So cold towards us secondary school students. I think he looks down on us. We slept over at the NTU hostel block 18. practically located at the boundaries of the whole campus. so we had a long walk every morning and evening actually everywhere we go is a long walk. The campus is big. real big. I shared room with Ray Chuan and had an interconnecting toilet with our neighbour (Zhuang Mao). No aircon in the whole block. n only 1 TV and 1 water cooler. how pathetic During the nights we roamed around the whole area. went to each others rooms. sleep here and there. get mixed up in other peoples rooms. how interesting. Made few real good friends there like Jeremy and Elwin. Perhaps Dave and Cliff too. We went to Jurong Point several times. To watch 'Chronicles of Riddick' in the middle of the night. not a very good show. the fighting scenes happened way too fast to see any effect at all. All i remember is Riddick saying, "I will kill you with my tea cup". lol. and he did. During the weekend, I came back home but I did not tell anyone. Did not want to be disturbed. had a BBQ on Saturday to celebrate Fathers Day. really enjoyed myself. I helped out quite a lot. and the lamb was pure bliss. delicious...*licks lips* found out that NS is now only 2 years!!!! On Sunday night, I was suppose to go back to the hostel. Before I went back, I went to Ulu Pandan CC for some performance. Met some friends there. (shall not disclose to much info here) The performance was great. They did very well I would say. *Smilez* Went back to NTU more prepared this time. brought my laptop along. brought my discman. played warcraft 3 in the library. haha. real funny. everyone else with a laptop there was working real hard and here we were playing. Went a coffeeshop one night and some gangster there scolded the vendor a 'chee bai' and they nearly fought. someone called the police but by the time they had arrived, the gangster had left. Really had a very good time in NTU overall. No regrets that i did not manage to go for LLTC. made many new friends. mad friends that make a lot of noise like me. haha. Cut my hair today. real short now. quite ugly i think. but what to do? some people say that i looked like any Ah Beng with my long hair in NTU. with my 'No Fear' cap, necklace, bracelet etc. my hair nearly touched the tip of my nose. I seriously dun think that Mr Sirhan will allow that. Will be going out tomorrow night to buy a Ukelele (small guitar, the one Adam Sandler used in 50 1st Dates). Update on Euro Cup 2004. Germany is out already (like its any of my business). But some other country in Group D is in. hmmmm. (that is my business...in a way) Sunday, June 13, 2004 hey i watched 'the day after tomorrow' today at cineleisure at 3pm. a nice movie to catch. much better than harry potter. with wolves than look much better than professor lupin (the scrawny blardy werewolf). nice freezing effects of everything. the room, the lights, the flag, the fuel, the etc etc. anyone interested to watch 'shrek 2', sms me or something. probably will watch it next week just before school reopens. ewww...sick. dun want to think about school just yet. especially with the loads of homework not done. anyway met at rueban at starbucks after movie and walked around orchard a bit. went to the harley davidson shop in takashimaya and we started talking about mr sirhan. haha.i will not be around from monday (tomorrow) until friday because i would be in NTU for some science exchange programme. so dun miss me too much yeah? lolz. Saturday, June 12, 2004 hey every1, yday nothing significant happened. so i shall not not specially tink of sum crap to write. if not i might b accused of being 'lor sorh'. i played bowling though, pretty badly, cant master my own curl bowling ball. oh well.2day went 2 cineleisure raiders LAN shop. cant believe i actually played wif wei yi n eugene chow. ltr hoong khit joined us n even ltr wei kann joined us. den went to KFC. treat wei yi 2 sum chicken. stun chowz cheese fries n popcorn chicken. came home n had sum family dinner at Turf City. oh man 2nite is the nite i drank the most. my 2 dear possibly future brother in laws kept on encouraging me 2 drink more. my dad n mum were too obsessed wif the food to notice. so i kept on drinking. after dinner, we went to Giant hypermart n i couldnt walk straight. came home i fell aslp nex 2 my dog on the floor. woke up den write sum stupid write-up for my sec4 scout post. i wan 2b spl of sea unit, pl of blueshark n sec2 head lvl coord. 2nd choice would b unit secretary (pei yuan encouraged me) Wednesday, June 09, 2004 hey fellaz, you should haf been able to guess from the title of this entry. dat i haf watched harry potter already. so all you people out there juz yearning to watch wif me, i got one word for you, "sorry". *ego* *ego* i watched at lido with peter tan and rueban. sharan was suppose to come along but he had some blardy problems. well the movie was not that impressive. howeva i would still recommend dat u ppl catch it. at least it helped me understand the story better bcoz i read the book b4 (quite sum time ago though).talking abt understanding. well. i did not understand yday's theatre performance. it was suppose to b silent. but it had background piano accompliment. n sum dialogue in spanish and only sum of it was subtitled. most of it was juz left for us to figure. which obviously i dint. i cant believe people actually "bravo"ed them after the play. utterly disgusting. n i saw kumar there too. u know the blardy bapok from mediacorp. Tuesday, June 08, 2004 hey everyone, dint haf a chance to blog for such a abt a week. so now i shall tell u wad happened during PLTC.2nd June: last day at home. went to meet M for the last time b4 camp. wanted 2 c her b4 i go 4 camp n haf no chance of communicating. went arnd wisma n HMV. den walked her to bus-stop. went to swensens wif sister. she decided to treat me to gd food. b4 i go 2 camp n die of malnutrition there due to the crappy food. 3rd June: first day of camp. report at SJI at 6.30am. kinda. eh hold on not kinda, VERY early. n as usual sum1 has 2 b late. milton gave excuse dat alarm clock wrked backwards. kinda crapped up. harish came lyk 1 hr late. we waited in push-up position 4 abt 20minutes. den we had change parade. den layout our stuff on the track. it rained. our stuff got a little wet. Kenny, the jerk, told us to move to 1st lvl foyer. layout. den pack up. ALL JUST BCOZ THE TRUCK TO LOAD OUR EQUIPMENT AINT HERE and dey had nothing else 4 us 2 do. it finally came. loaded a lotta stuff. was standing on top of all the poles wif peter tan n zhuang mao n jer yeo. went 2 sarimbun, remembered the smell of grass there so well. UTC unloaded. built a lot of gadgets compared to the other 3 patrols within first day. mr adrian lim was on MC, so june ren took over him as camp chief. 4th June: 2nd day. wrked like hell. rained during backwoodsman but still got 1st n also got 1st for patrol games (even though it was impromptu) n another 1st for modern cooking. went 4 programme planning talk by mr gregory. in air con room. den went 4 patrol leaders council. bcoz i was the patrol leader of the day. got camping standard btw. 73%. highest in PLTC. btw kai chung our PL dint come coz he was sick 5th June: life started 2 bcome trash. physically n emotionally stressed. muscles tired like hell. n june ren still made us carry our bags wherever we went. n i missed u a lot already. got highest for morning inspection but poor sharan (PL of day) could not get camping standard. partly bcoz it rained the previous night. so we could not do anything constructive other than slp. gerard n jonathan gave some compass lecture den we had orienteering. had orienteering after dat. came in first even though we walked all the way. had night games by yong teng n royston. kc lost his belt. haha. sucker. BTW kia chung came 2day. 6th June: missing u real real lot. 1st 4 morn inspection again. 73%. only patrol wif camping standard. SRIC (first aid) came in second. although i thot we had gd chance. wen wei n jing zhou gave lecture on anchorages, 2 legged tower n monkey bridge. integrity patrol (me) n loyalty patrol build 2 legged tower. mr malcolm tan came n look at our structure. gave us advice. i was cook of the day. so i had to cook. n darrick was not there. he had mass. DAMN!!! so i cooked potato wedges n some fishes n hash browns. friar mike n dom ang came. dey tried the monkey bridge. not bad man friar mike. had campfire. finally june ren went home n adrian lim came back. pretty nice but yet pretty bad the campfire. cant really explain 7th June: bcome somewad zombie-like. super missing u. strike down camp. we return sarimbun equipment. UTC loaded SJI equipment. we went 2 SJI early. waited damn long time. i fell aslp in formation 4 first time. den we unloaded went the lorry finally arrived. we won best patrol. a lot above the otehr patrols. sadly, BlueShark got 9th. out of 12. grrr...if only there was UTC last yr. blueshark patrol (me) would haf won. n dat would make it twice in a row. had lotsa food from qi sheng. came home 6.30. royal bath until 7pm. comp until 8pm. slept until 12nn. mum helped me unpack. she is damn angry now. lolz. i dun care. 8th june: had 16hrs of solid sleep. finally PLTC is over. but its dmg is still on me. i haf duno how many bites on my neck. making me look like frankenstein. n i still haf 2 go watch the 'el automovil gris' 2nite at DBS arts centre 4 english hol homewrk. near malcolm hse. BTW the queenstown ppl who joined us were pure lousy scouts. one dint even noe how to tie square lash. all they do is slack. so we usually get dem to hold the gadget, find scissors, find twine, cut twine, fill water bottles, etc. n dey eat a lot too. more than us who actually wrk like mad-dogs. so many stories 2 tell abt them...but not gonna. too long already Tuesday, June 01, 2004 well, a little bit more abt yday. i had 2 put on elastic straps. isnt dat juz totally disgusting. it is now so hard to eat eif dat crappy stuff stretching in ur damn blardy mouth. grr.today had scouts pltc prep 4 the last day. b4 pltc itself, which would b from thursday to monday. how sad. weekend spent in sarimbun slping wif andrew goh under the same tent. ewww...ok i m mean. lolz. anw teeth hurt when i eat teriyaki chicken at cafe 4 lunch. was suppose 2 eat wif the queenstown scouts who came 2 our sch. but obviously dint. another reason y im bad. i tink the bing you in my patrol is a little fag. i saw him few days ago at the bowling competition. n his team won mine. but at least my individual score is higher than his. ahem!! *ego* anw the prep was pretty screwed up. doing a lotta nonsense punishment. but i was prepared 4 worse so cant really say much. n as the camp....i muz really prepare 4 the worse!! is tml THE day? bet u peeps dun understand dis too!! :) |
